What program?
The WILD was developed for a race program for sizes 7.2, 6.2, 5.2 and race/freestyle for the 4.2. It’s a powerful, fast and stable wing. It is suitable for riders looking for response and power when sailing. Please note that it does not replace the WILF but sits alongside in our Wing range as a complementary wing.
WILF or WILD?
The two wings are complementary. The WILD is more performance orientated, for riders looking for a powerful, stable and fast wing. The WILF is a more versatile, lighter in the hand, high performing wing.
How many handles does it have?
The WILD range has two handles. They are firm strap handles for the 4.2 to provide more comfort in freestyle. They are semi-rigid bar type handles on the 5.2, 6.2 and 7.2.
Construction
Two types of seams exist in the world of wing: cross-cut (we sew the panels horizontally) or triradial (starting from a point and we sew triangular panels). The WILD uses the spider web technology which is a cross cut seam with a triradial kevlar reinforcement to have a better distribution of the efforts, a better fluid flow and thus a performing wing.
What is included?
The wing is sold with a quality storage bag and a repair kit.
